Iceland's Ring Road: Itinerary, Tips & Tricks

We're back!Traveling Iceland's Ring Road was a complete whirlwind, and yet one of the most relaxing trips I've ever been on. Road trips have that way about them.

Below is a map depicting our entire route, including the hotels we stayed at each night along with the scheduled activities we enjoyed.

The Route:

If you hate road trips, then this is the one for you.

For such a relatively small island, Iceland has some of the most diverse landscapes in the entire world. In the course of 7 days of driving we saw lava fields, lush green pasture, countless waterfalls, glaciers, dessert, snowcapped mountains, foggy cliffs, geothermal pools, and more! Truly unbelievable. We drove a total of about 32 hours and never once was I bored by my surroundings.
