This was my first food/brand photo project, so I didn't really know what to expect. To make sure I fully understand the scope of Pretzel Boy's process to better capture their personality, I arrived early on a Saturday morning in time to watch the team prep their dough, roll and bake their pretzels, and prepare their homemade cheeses! It was so cool getting behind-the-scenes access. I got to learn so much about their process and ingredients. By the time pretzels were popping out of the oven I had to try them!
And now for the finished products! These things are seriously delicious.
The best part? I got to sample every single pretzel model! By the time I was done photographing them, moving them around, placing them *just so*, cutting slices out of them, etc. they weren't fresh enough to sell. Not wanting to waste a single delicious morsel, I volunteered to eat them for my lunch. Boy, was that a good decision :)
I consider myself an avid pretzel consumer, but I've never eaten a pretzel quite like these! The softies are a perfect combination of crusty shell and soft, warm inside. They're an excellent balance of sweet, salty, and just plain carb-y. Oh, and the cheese. Now that stuff is good! All of their cheeses are homemade and utterly addictive. Especially the smoked jalapeño cheese - they smoke the jalapeños in house! My mouth is watering just thinking about this...
The absolute best part? Dessert! Pretzel Boy's makes sweet pretzels coated in cinnamon and sugar, paired with an absolutely delicious cream cheese frosting dip! Holy cow these things are good.
Thanks again to Pretzel Boy's for this way cool experience! I had a blast spending my Saturday learning more about your store and your delicious pretzels. I can't wait to stop by again soon!
