I've eaten at a lot of restaurants in Kansas City. If I was an amateur before, KC Restaurant Week 2013 made me a professional. But of all the places that I've eaten at before, none elicit quite the cravings or return rates that Lulu's Thai Noodle Shop does. Ask the Fella: any time we have a free day to eat out I request Lulu's. It's just. that. good. After the Big XII games, the Fella was understandably a bit upset by KSU's loss to one of his least favorite teams. Naturally, I suggested Lulu's as a pick-me-up. It cheers up even the grumpiest cat. Just look at Lulu's face!
How could you not resist that adorable smile? She's just happy to be here!
Naturally, I had a little Instagram fun.
I find this tree wall to be very cool.
I had the Wan See Ew Pak with chicken. I rarely branch out from this. I love that's is so veggie-centric, and the sauce isn't too salty or sweet. It's just right :) If I could figure out the ingredients ratios "sweet garlic and ginger soy sauce" I'd make it all the time for myself, on top of eating on a monthly basis at Lulu's.
The Fella managed to crack a smile, despite his depression. Or maybe he was just excited to be photo-bombing my Instagram spree.
Have you ever been to Lulu's? What'd you think of it?
