Sunday Snapshot: Disney in Bloom

In early March I had the distinct pleasure of leaving behind the cold dreariness that is Kansas City in spring and jetting off to EPCOT for one glorious day in the sun. I wore shorts and let my pale legs free! I embraced the humidity! I walked 14 miles in one day! I took photos!

Did you know that you can bring photography equipment into Disney parks? You can! You just can't sell the photos you take. That's fine by me, though. I still get to share them on my site with you!

Not only was I lucky to be spending a day in the happiest place on earth, but I was also there for the final week of their International Flower & Garden Show! The entire park was decorated with beautiful flower gardens, but the hits were the character-inspired topiaries hidden throughout the grounds. Here are some of my favorites:

There was even a butterfly garden to explore!

But most of all, I just enjoyed looking at all of the lovely flowers :)

But what's a trip to EPCOT without spending a little time idolizing Spaceship Earth?

It had been over 12 years since I'd visited a Disney park. Some things were entirely the same, and some things were completely foreign to me. Maybe I'll visit it in another 12 years and see how much has changed then!
