Hello! How is everyone's weekend?
A couple of weeks ago I had the opportunity to visit my alma mater's city of Lincoln, Nebraska, for a photo shoot! Two of my old running buddies contacted me this spring to photograph their sweet family. We've run together for many years in an Omaha-to-Lincoln relay race, but I've never had the chance to meet their kids!
We selected an awesome location for the shoot: Nine Mile Prairie. As the name suggests, this is a prairie reserve located on the outskirts of Lincoln where the University of Nebraska conducts environmental research. The prairie is a spectacular backdrop for just about any type of photo. Between the expansive views and the eye-catching lines created by tire tracks you have everything you need to work with!
The Unterseher kids were fantastic models. I loved their energy and playfulness! They were game for just about anything and were complete troopers throughout the hour-long session. And can we talk about how adorable the youngest Unterseher family member is??
Below are some of my favorite shots from the evening :)
Thank you again to the Unterseher for an awesome evening exploring the Nebraska prairie. I'll say it: there is no place like Nebraska :)
